What to Expect
Homeopathy is a highly individualized system of medicine that considers the whole person, not just the illness or disease. It is important to get a full picture in order to treat the whole person. Therefore you can expect an initial interview to last 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The information you provide is essential for effective homeopathic care for you as an individual. Please take care to fill out the appropriate Intake Form (see links below) and bring them with you to your first appointment.
In addition you will be asked questions about your personal make-up. This information is as important as your current symptoms and can often make the difference in remedy selection. See the How to To Report Symptoms link below to review prior to your initial consultation. This will help acquaint you with the type of information that will be discussed at your consultation.
Intake Fees include all remedies, individualized analysis and research, educational coaching and call-in support.
Acute care consultations are for non-chronic conditions such as colds, flu, ear infections, recovery from injuries, trauma or surgery. The fee includes 2 brief phone follow-ups. (does not include remedies)
Information to be gathered during your consult:
Health history
Description of the symptom(s)
Location/area of the body affected
What makes the complaint better or worse?
When it began?
Anything else that accompanies the complaint?
Your sensitivities, energy, personality likes/dislikes, sleep, appetite, digestion, diet, etc.
It is important to monitor and record the response after taking the remedy so that you can provide this information during your follow-up appointment. The more information you can provide, the better we can assess your progress and work towards healing.
Follow-up visits take place approximately 4 weeks after the initial consultation are approximately half hour in length. Generally, you should book 3-4 follow-up appointments as consistency in using homeopathic medicines is the key to success.
Regular follow-ups help you achieve optimum results.
